About me *
While my primary passion lies in documentary filmmaking, a genre that allows me to explore reality with captivating depth, my journey in cinema is defined by a versatile skillset that spans the entire production chain.
Nurtured by memorable movie nights during my childhood, I maintain a nostalgic admiration for the art of cinema. Growing up with the pioneers of YouTube and online content, I firmly believe these creators have profoundly influenced my work. This background informs my approach as a director and editor, allowing me to blend traditional storytelling with the dynamic pacing of digital media.
My career began in editing, where I honed my craft before expanding my horizons through studies and on-set experiences. Today, I am equally at home in the editing suite, on the director's chair, and behind the scenes in production and AD. These roles, where I thrive and deliver high efficiency, are a natural extension of my storytelling vision. This multidisciplinary approach is reflected in my current role as a Pedagogical Assistant at HEAD-Genève Cinéma, where I guide the next generation of filmmakers.
On a daily basis, I actively engage with causes close to my heart, such as social injustices and climate issues. This commitment drives my choice of documentary projects; I believe that film, whether documentary or fiction, is one of the most powerful tools to awaken consciousness and convey strong messages. My work is imbued with a deep desire to make a positive impact on the world.
