Alba, 22, has lived her entire life alongside her chronically ill mother. Recently accepted into an art school in London, she is asked to create a portrait of her mother as part of the entrance exam. What begins as a simple assignment soon reopens long-buried memories, forcing Alba to confront the emotional layers of her past.
